Film Workshop: Children In Arab-Israeli Conflict and Brazilian Favelas
On March 27 and 28, 2018 the Department of Philosophy at Olomouc University, Czech Republic will host the film workshop initiated by students of Jewish Studies and Roman Studies Depts. The project tends to attract the attention of the audience and filmmakers to the troubled and imminent consequence of wars and poverty: children and their path through the tough circumstances. Two documentaries and feature films will be screened each day, focusing on the Arab-Israeli conflict first, and the next day on Brazilian favelas. Each film deals with the blade sharp issue from children`s point of view.
